SECTION 6 - EMERGENCY FIRST AID
PROCEDURES
EYE
CONTACT:
Immediately flush eyes with large
quantities of clean water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician
immediately.
SKIN CONTACT:
Remove any contaminated clothing
or shoes. Thoroughly wash affected areas with soap and water.
Flush with large quantities of clean water. If irritation develops
or persists, call a physician.
INHALATION:
Remove to fresh air and contact
a physician immediately.
INGESTION:
"DO NOT" induce vomiting. Administer
water and call a physician or local Poison Control Center immediately.
SECTION 7 - PERSONAL PROTECTION
EYES:
In general, the use of safety
glasses with side-shields is recommended. If the material is to
be handled in a manner where splashing may occur, the use of splash
goggles or a face shield and goggles is recommended.
RESPIRATORY:
In well-ventilated areas respiratory
protection is not normally required. In confined or poorly ventilated
areas or if material is toxic by inhalation, the use "NIOSH"-approved
respiratory protection is recommended.
EQUIPMENT & APPAREL:
The use of chemical resistance
gloves is recommended. Acceptable industrial hygiene practices
should be maintained by limiting exposure to the material. Wash
immediately before eating or after any contact with the material.
Thoroughly wash any contaminated clothing or shoes before reuse.
VENTILATION:
Ventilation, which meets accepted
standards, is recommended. Use exhaust fan if necessary.
SECTION 8 - SPILL, LEAK AND WASTE DISPOSAL PROCEDURES
SPILL OR RELEASE:
Contain spilled material. Avoid
open flames or other sources of ignition. Avoid inhalation of
vapors and contact with skin and eyes. In a confined or poorly
ventilated area, the use of "NIOSH" approved respiratory protection
is recommended. Cover the spilled material with an inert, non-combustible
absorbent material and remove to an approved disposal container.
If required, report the spill to appropriate authorities.
DISPOSAL:
Dispose of in accordance with
all current applicable local, provincial and
federal regulations.

It is recommended that this material
be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area away from open flames
